Plumbing services in Scottsdale, AZ.

Scottsdale homes, pipes and water

Old Town and south Scottsdale (85251 and 85257) have 1950s and 1960s homes with original copper or galvanized supply lines that are well past their design life. McCormick Ranch and Gainey Ranch (85258) date mostly from the 1970s and 1980s. North Scottsdale (85255, 85259, 85260 and 85262) has larger homes from the 1990s through today, and some of them were plumbed with Kitec.

Large north Scottsdale homes bring their own plumbing problems. They often have multiple water heaters, recirculation pumps, long runs of copper and pool equipment. A recirculation loop that runs constantly wears pipe faster, and a pump that fails can leave you waiting on hot water. We service both.

Scottsdale water comes from the Colorado River through the Central Arizona Project and from the Salt and Verde rivers, and it is hard. The City of Scottsdale water department publishes its annual quality report. Scale shortens the life of heaters and recirculation pumps.
